I think we could use public domain to build a park on the landfill property. We could do some research into the value of that property, based on the fact it does have a permit. Buy it with a fund hopefully donated by citizens giving what they can and be done with it. True that it may be to costly for very much of the land but if we delegate like 20 acres instead of the whole thing it would destroy the permit. Then the property would be prime real estate next to a nice park. Maybe....

Why not just take the dump and be over with it? Those of us in the eastern part of the town live near the Robertson Co. dump and put up with it. Just buy some extra fly paper, some air freshener, cowboy up and put up with it as we do. I have a hard time finding sympathy for people on the other end of town having to put up with what we have for so long.

Those of you on the eastern part of town don't want to be in the Town of Coopertown anyhow....so get off your high horse...the county dump (which is at full capacity and has been for several years) is there to stay. Do you seriously want people to associate Robertson County with the "Land of the Dumps" and no business would EVER consider relocating to a county full of dumps!!!

The dump is dead as long as the Town of Coopertown remains incorporated! And with that being said....the dump is dead!!!!!!!!
