Post Your Plans For Your Future
What are your plans for the future now that Crosby is gone? You going to try and stay employed with city hall? You can talk now that Crosby will no longer be your boss.

I just heard that FORMER mayor has took it upon himself to fire the majority of the road crew and officer workers. Geez they did what you wanted and needed, your threw with them, so you discard them like trash! And these people were probably afraid every day to get fired and he up and does that to them. What a jerk. The way it is worded in the Charter there is no authority for a loser. He was former when the vote count was over. It is up to the new admin to vet these employees. They should have laughed at Crosby and said he was the only one FIRED yesterday!!

You got to be kidding,I guess one last knife before leaving.Saw another post from country girl about a sad day in Coopertown, wonder if this anon. poster had ever been to a city meeting.Maybe the post on this site will be a little more "user friendly" now that the election is over. And yes,Peggy Ruth may be able to work with others on issues. You may be able to attend meetings and voice your opinion without fear of the gestapo taking you out.Just my opinion,Robert E.

I attended a number of meetings over the last four years. One of the reasons I stopped attending was that I got tired of Peggy Ruth trying to stop everything that came up. She is not for the betterment of Coopertown. I have voiced my opinions on several issues to Mayor Crosby over the past four years and nothing has happen to me. I am more worried about what is going to happen when people do not agree with Sam Childs and his group.

Country you wish you had ever found a clue that put you on the straight and narrow. Your man could not come up with a budget even at the time of election. Plus your husband who was working side by side the whole time did nothing to make him get his act together, nor did you. You are to blame, too because you knew better but wanted to be mean. We know who you are and don't care if you say "it aint so", which are not in your dialect of english I am certain. I just heard some reliable news about Danny supposedly attempted to demote the all the ranking Police officers and fire the others. I guess to generate lawsuits for the city as it worked like that for that administration. Well, guess what he can't do that to them anymore he is voted out. Those people still have jobs and will get an opportunity to keep it as HE was the one fired. Surely, we wont be able to retain every last one but I see old ones who are probably good picks are willing to consider a return. We want an Andy Griffith type that knows the people, knows who belongs because they see us as they drive down our roads on patrol. We don't want to be making roads money and car money off the backs of unsupecting motorists. Granted we DO want safety just not a "speed blitz". That is distasteful and makes people like the Pizza man I talked to say he could "sigh a breath of relief that it might not feel like a police state anymore driving through Coopertown"!

So country girl thinks she liked it that way! Voted her out too!

I do not know who you think I am but you are very wrong. Neither my husband nor myself worked for Danny or Coopertown.

You won't until you attend one. I'm sure the next two will not be too much excitement because of the holidays and people still are trying to find stuff. Give it a try in February when things have settled down and I can assure you YOU will be heard and will have an answer!

You narrow our choices if you went and asked questions or are lying if you say you went to meetings and asked questions. Apathy brought so very FEW to the meetings. Ask Sam, Peggy, Susan, Mrs. Spiller and the others who DID go regularly. They where wanting other witnesses to this behavior so that, come election day, informed people could get the word out to their neighbors and so on. Word of mouth and people, who were more believable, went door to door against that boorish man.

Sam said he outworked them and he sure did do that as judged by the results. Money was what Danny had to use with all those slanderous signs he thought people would buy that line of cock and bull. Meanwhile, good ole Sam used shoe leather from the bottom of his own two feet! What a novel concept.

"Promises kept" was not a good slogan either as it was a joke to perpetuate that charade. Plus I like how their handwritten "Z" made me think of the hero "ZORO". The one who rids small hispanic towns of corrupt people. It looked as if it had been there sending out Zoro's warning. A good omen of hope for us, I believed.

Again Gordon, I've seen you come on this forum the last couple of days but you quit posting about the same time Ghost of EJ was exposed. What are your plans for the future. What are Danny Crosby's plans for the future and what are the infamous 1140's plans for the future?
